Privacy
We never sell individual-level data. Ever. Aggregated, anonymised street-pocket statistics power the product; nothing we publish can single out a household, and nothing we license identifies a person.
What we collect
- Phone number — to verify one account per person. Stored as a salted hash.
- Location, in the moment — only to confirm you're at your address when rating, and to centre the map. Never in the background, never as a movement history.
- Sound levels, not sound — the optional 30-second sample is analysed on your phone into an A-weighted level (a number). Audio is never stored and never leaves your device.
- Ratings — a number and fixed tags. There is no free-text field by design: you can't name anyone, and nobody can name you.
Publishing rules
- Ratings publish only blurred to street-pocket level, and only once a minimum number of households have contributed.
- Deleting your account removes it and everything personal; your rating survives only inside anonymous pocket aggregates.
