Terms of Use

Last updated 15 September 2026. Applies to the n-earshot app for iPhone and Android and to n-earshot.com.

The short version. The score is a prediction from public data, not a measurement at the address and not advice. Look for yourself before you sign anything. The Moving Pass is one payment for 90 days and does not renew. Rate only an address you are at, and only once. Nothing here takes away rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

1. Who you are dealing with

n-earshot is operated by LLM Family Investments Pty Ltd (ACN 610 504 482) as trustee for the LLM Family Trust (ABN 27 213 698 865), trading as N-Earshot ("n-earshot", "we", "us"). By using the app or the website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them. You must be at least 16 to create an account.

6. Alerts, saved addresses and sharing

7. Acceptable use

You may use n-earshot for your own housing decisions and to help someone you are helping. You must not: scrape, bulk-download or resell scores or data; use the service to build a competing dataset; probe or attack the service; use it for automated decisions about people (for example tenant screening); or use the help assistant for anything other than questions about n-earshot. Data from third parties, including OpenStreetMap, G-NAF and government open data, is used under licences listed at n-earshot.com/methodology, and those licences bind you too where they apply.

8. Our content

The app, website, the scoring method, and all text, design and data we create are ours or licensed to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them; they do not give you ownership of anything.

9. Australian Consumer Law and liability

10. Changes and ending

We may change n-earshot, these terms or the price for future purchases. Material changes to the terms are announced in the app and dated at the top of this page; continuing to use n-earshot after that is acceptance. We may withdraw features or the service with reasonable notice; a live pass is refunded for its unused part if we do. You can stop using n-earshot at any time and delete your account.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory, and the courts there have jurisdiction, without taking away your right to bring a claim in your own state or territory under consumer law. If something goes wrong, email us first at info@n-earshot.com; most things are sorted out in a reply.
